The license agreement retains or increases in value, and can be sold to The Farmhouse Retreat waiting list, once all memberships are sold.

Farmhouse Wellness Retreat has every intention of getting the facilities up and running as soon as possible. Obviously it is neither in our interest nor your interest for there to be delays in the build process. Delays are however possible and as a business, we will do our best to mitigate them. We aim for the racquet facility to be open by Fall of 2025.

The surface is a “hard court”, consisting of a concrete base with an acrylic sealant, and a top layer of paint mixed with sand. This offers a more forgiving surface than traditional exterior hard courts.

The playing area for the pickeball courts are 20ft x 44’, plus a 10’ run-off line, a 7’ run- off line in the middle between courts and a 10’ run-off line on the sides. With that in mind, the dimensions of each area are outlined on drawings in the Membership Package.

The height of the structure will be 30ft. The courts will be climate controlled to ensure a comfortable room temperature year-round. The lighting will be designed specifically for pickleball.

High-end locker rooms, washrooms, Club Lodge (food and drink available) and viewing area. Also on site is a full Spa, Cafe, and retreat accommodations.

Yes, we already have the necessary ‘private recreational’ zoning in place. In terms of legal requirements, The Town of Blue Mountains has advised that we only need a minor variance, and there are four specific requirements of which we meet.

No, this is a members-only facility, except guests of the retreat and guests of members limited to 2x per year.
